Kenya Visa Requirements

There are different types of Visa according to your travel.

Requirements

Passport

Passport must be valid atleast for six(6) months
Passport must be clean and full visa page for endorsement
Valid passport or other travel documents including seeman’s discharge book acceptable to the kenyan government are required for all persons wishing to entre kenya.

Types of Visas and requirements

Single journey Visa

Two visa application forms V.I to be duly filled, signed and dated
Two copies of an invitation letter/cover letter from the applicant
Two copies of indentity card if the host is a kenyan
Two copies of valid residential work permit if the host is a foreigner
Two copies of marriege certificates if visiting spouse
Two passport size photographs of the applicant
Tw copies of valid passport/travel documents of the applicant Bio data page and oage showing validity of atleast six months.
Two copies of medical refferal letter from the hospital for medical cases
Two copies of the applicants residential/work permit if not residing in the country
USD 10 refferal fee

Single Journey Visa application from companies/Organisations

Two application forms V.I t be duly filled, signed and dated
Two copies of valid passport with a validity of atleast six(6) months
Two passport size photographs for the applicant
Cover letter to be on Companies/Organisation’s letterheads
Should specify the reason for applicants visit
Specify proposed date of entry and duration of stay
Show connection between applicant and the company/organisation
The letter should have the name and the signature of the person countersigning it
Single journey fee is USD 50

Multiple joulney visa

Two visa application forms V.I to be duly filled signed and dated
Two passport size photographs of the applicant
Two copies of a cover letter from the applicant detailing the need of an MJV
Copies of the previouse visas
Applicans applying for multiple journey Visa’s to visit their spouses should avail in addition to the above, the following:-
Their spouse indentity card if kenyan
Copy of marriege certificate
Residents work permits if spouse is a foreigner
Parents applying for a multiple visa’s to kenya to visit their children in schools should avail copies of valid pupil’s passes and copies of validresidential permits in their countriesof residence

Transit Visas

Two visa application forms V.I to be duly filled , signed and dated
Two passport size photographs of the applicant
Two copies of valid passport/travel documents with a validity of (6)months
Copies of onward ticket/itinerary to the third destination
Transit Visa fee is USD 20
