As an international school, with a diverse range of cultures, no single national curriculum fits our needs. We have therefore designed our own, adapting our standards from a number of highly dependable sources, which include:
• National and/or state curriculums
• (AERO) American Education Reaches Out:a project supported by the U.S. State Department’s Office of Overseas Schools (A/OPR/OS) and the Overseas Schools Advisory Council to assist schools in developing and implementing standards-based curricula
• The McRel Standards: a synthesis of US national standards with standards from other national systems
• The Diploma programmes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation
• The International Schools Assessment Programme
